Oliver and Freddie are two boys growing up in suburbia. Growing up into teenagers side by side. Freddie begins to realize that he doesn’t just like Oliver as a friend, but has a crush on him, a feeling he hasn’t come to terms with.

The purpose of IDKHTTY is to resonate with queer audiences, for people to see the nuances of an unchangeable part of someone that in the past and even now is seen as ‘taboo’ in some areas. It’s not as simple as knowing and then telling people.

Sometimes it takes a while for someone to accept themselves, before they can be accepted.
