The Harvest Festival
The story follows a Mushroom Princess named Juniper, as she neglects her royal duties in the annual Harvest Festival. In this world, The Harvest Festival is a yearly celebration where all the villagers in the kingdom gather to welcome the birthing of the new villagers. The overall story touches on the concept of family and how in some circumstances not everyone can get along, feel like they fit it in this world and how lonely it can be. With the help of bright and colourful visuals with cute characters I wanted to bring a light-hearted feel to the film to not make it appear so glum. The entire film production was animated in Toom Boom Harmony and composited with visual effects in Adobe After Effects.
